And then it will be between him and Nussmeier, who I'm pretty freakin' high on. Pretty weird to think of a possible logjam at QB, coming our way. We'll see how they all actually progress, but this is about as good as it gets on paper.

4.6 is fast. Hell, 4.8 isnt bad. That's what Baker Mayfield runs and he was considered a dual threat.

When I said "possibility", I mean that we don't yet know that any of them will pan out. We've had a lot of QB's on scholarship before who were pretty highly rated, but most of them were duds.
This time, it seems like the QB's we have/will have are on a different level. So that's pretty nice.

Yep 4.63 laser for a QB who isnt even considered dual threat is insanely good. Shows he can get up and go when needed. For reference, Mac Jones just ran a 4.85 unofficial at Bama's pro day, so probably a 4.9 accurate laser 40 there and now he's a supposed Top 5/10 pick all of a sudden despite being a below average athlete for a QB.

Jerry Rice ran a 4.6 hand timed 40, guys like Cooper Kupp ran mid 4.6 at the combine, Howard has good speed and will do well when he has to run.
