Also, people weren’t so damn thin skinned. Now you so much as fart in the wrong direction and people get bent out of shape. I’d go back to the late 80’s in a heartbeat.

You think the gold mine at 2am on a Saturday night is too woke for you?

Escapades was in fat city, Metairie.

Got arrested outside the Golf Mine in the early 90’s. I remember. Flaming Dr. Peppers until we were blind. Get back to LSU somehow.

As said earlier, if you went in Jimmy's on a busy night, I probably sold you a drink.

Opus 111 originally, hot bed for fights with it being close to LV, the 1/4 and semi close to Uptown.
Fun times.

Cars towed all the time when you parked in wrong lot at Shanahan’s and parking your car at 2 AM around F&M’s without a care in the world. Joe’s Recovery Room by Charity where everyone hung out on call and post-call. Remember the Dugout early owner his wife was in dental school or something.

Lady's night. We'd go very Wednesday night after shoot at the Magazine range. I was so relaxed, nothing bothered me.
Very nice talent as you mentioned.

I vaguely remeber that. Kermit's Middle Leg. I know that some time back they were talking about reopening in a new building on Tulane and were attempting to make it upscale....which of course, I was morally oppossed to. Let Nick's be Nick's!!!

3 days straight. Saturday through Monday night/Tuesday morning if I remember correctly.

My favorite memory or that place was being in the front lobby for a break from the music and watching a NOPD officer walk in through the front door. With all the open drug use, I thought for sure it was about to get raided. The guy walked in, walked to the concession stand, got a free bottled water and walked out. I realized at that point that NOPD absolutely had to have been paid off to not see what that officer did not see that was so clearly going on around him.

You’re not taking about the shitty strip club in Prairieville, are you? That’s the only Escapades I ever went to.

I went there too. But Escapades was a techno joint a block down from Kenny's in the 90s. People walked between them all night. Well 1am-6am.

I remember that place but I feel like it had another name at the time that I went to it. Escapades just isn’t ringing a bell, but my memory is very fuzzy from those trips. Was it ever called something else?
