There is a great deal we do not know about the killer, his motivation, and other critical aspects about this shooting, but know this: as president, I will use all the resources at my disposal to keep the American people safe.

We can close loopholes in our gun background check system.

How about let’s start holding law enforcement, schools, sometimes family, and others accountable for not acting on earlier encounters.

No president, or anyone in government can keep Americans safe. It's up to every day normal Americans to keep themselves safe. It really is crazy to me how mass shootings like this don't get stopped before they really start by a patriot with a concealed carry.
