Why? Global reserve currency and the US, as messed up as it is, remains the BEST economy and currency still going in the world.
And hundreds of billions in corruption no longer matter either. Corruption is the new standard and now normal.
At best though we will go thru some form of japanification. You keep using deficit spending to "create" growth but really you are just borrowing growth from the future.
At worst the delta between the well being of those that own homes and equity securities and the poors will grow so large that friction will be inevitable.

Crazy how a few billion a few years back was such an issue, and look at where we are now.
Sad what this nation is being turned into. Wonder when we'll start seeing reports of foreigners not wanting or dollars.
