And LSU will still do that at times, but the game is not the same. I didn’t know the post was referring to 30 years ago. Why are we comparing the two. College baseball is different than it used to be, for everyone. Not just LSU. There’s many reasons for that.

Well their hitters have found a way to put 7 runs on our first rounders so far. I guess you just like making excuses for mediocrity

So now we would rather have MSU’s hitters who have had worse statistics than LSU’s. Y’all would’ve been calling for the coach to be fired for their hitting this season.

Umm no. Y’all are very naive if you believe that LSU should be running first rounders off the mound on a routine basis. It doesn’t happen. Most of these top pitchers on these teams will keep a low ERA all season and have an off game every once in a while.

Right that’s what it is. The old “accepting mediocrity” play. LSU has done better than most programs in the country during the time PM has been here, but you can’t accept it because of what LSU did in the 90’s. Accepting that the game is different now is not the same as accepting mediocrity.

Certainly is. There’s been very few who have been as often as LSU. Even less with a chance in the title series.

I never suggested anything at all,..I simply called you out on your answer to the poster that stated a fact that LSU used to smash 1st rounders and that your answer was suggesting they never did such a thing...now you come back and say they do it from time to time trying

The SEC is good. Hate to break it to you. If being in the top half of the SEC most years (you know amongst all the nationally ranked SEC teams) is average then I guess we are.
