Not at all. There’s a difference between aces having off days and a team that routinely knocks first rounders off the mound. I already said I didn’t know the post was referring to 30 years ago when we are talking about a game in 2021 when the game isn’t the same as it used to be. I have no need to save face as you’re trying to suggest.

It doesn’t matter what time frame it was...you denied they ever did such a thing when in fact they did...then you come back and say they did from time to time...

States only allowed 5 runs in 9 games and their bullpen leads the nation in a few categories. Hoping it’s that their pitching is just that good but really we’ve looked like arse at the plate the last 2 nights

When did I say anything like that? Some days LSU will be that team to make things happen. Other days it will happen to LSU.

Well I actually think that Eddie Smith has been an improvement. Many of LSU’s hitters are seeing this type of talent for the first time. There is a learning curve. When did I defend PM as a hitting coach?

It happens. If someone is sitting on a belt high fastball then they have a good shot at hitting it out. College hitters are good. That doesn’t mean that good pitching won’t get the best of them most of the time. Our young hitters will have games like that also. It just didn’t happen in these first two.

That’s clearly not all I said, but you can quote only the first couple of words if it makes you feel better. I guess you don’t watch much competitive baseball in the SEC with dominant pitchers. By the way, all of LSU’s hits today came from guys seeing their first SEC pitching. So, yes, it happens.

Yeah they certainly do. Are we equating that to a competitive weekend series? Don’t most of the pitchers throw less innings and pitches in scrimmages so everyone can get work and they can build up stamina slowly?
