I bought another one month or so ago and the fricking thing blows the horn every time you get out of it when you leave keys in it.

Annoying as F

Anyway to fix this? Fuse or something

Thanks

My F150 horns twice when I exit the running truck with key Fob in my pocket, I despise that fricking feature.

Easily the single most hated thing about my old F150.
But, the door keypad is one of my favorite features on any truck ever made. Major reason I stick with F series.

Extremely aggravating. YouTubed how to turn it off within a week of having it. It’s and easy setting to turn off

Yes. and yes... especially at the damn deer lease. That said, I messed with the controls on the home screen and changed it.

Had a number of rental cars lately that do this. I can see how it might be useful, but frick that is annoying.

BEEP BEEP in the middle of the night out front of a hotel or restaurant.

Guy who hunts on the other side of the highway from me apparently either couldn’t figure this out of him and his son kept going back to the truck.

I heard that double honk probably 5-6 times.

Lookup FORScan on f150 forum you can certainly turn it off as well as many other things. Imagine there’s something similar for GM as well

They have a plug that connects to your OBD2 that remembers your last setting. So, either turn the auto off or sport mode, but it remembers.

Forums specific to F150 are much better for this.

On the F150s it’s a fuse under your steering wheel. I youtubed it and fixed my 2018. Takes 2 seconds. Currently have a 2021 z71, need to figure out how to do it. On the horn honking I leave on fob in the truck and one in my pocket. Doesn’t honk
