It should. And it tells us how much Leftists "care" about women. If they can promote a narrative, they don't give two isths about women.

I read somewhere that ATL has the highest density of Asian "spas" in the country. Found that odd.

If I were a reporter, I'd be curious.

If I was a democratic apparatchik... It'd be tweeting #StopAsianHate

Legalize prostitution, and the market for sex trafficking goes away.

No, it really doesn't go away by doing this...

No shite. Walmart will have a brothel in the front of their stores right next to the H&R Block tax prep desk.

"Honey, you go ahead and go shop, I'll meet you at the checkout in 5 minutes."

Ya'll know the police use the Patriot Act to surveillance these place and find little to no confirmed Human Trafficking. Human Trafficking isn't setting up storefronts in Strip Malls. It's the most easily proven false narrative.

You know nothing about law enforcement. Local law enforcement doesn't use the Patriot Act to conduct surveillance. And the Feds are too busy burying the crimes of Democrats and destroying evidence to bother with some girls forced into sexual slavery.

This is so stupidly naive. All these operations are basically "legal." Clearly nobody is cracking down on them.

Who do you foresee stepping up to take their place if it's ever "officially legal" instead? Your sister? Your girlfriend? Your daughter?

Is the official legality issue of this the only thing stopping THEM?

The warrant is a holdover from 9/11. Issued under the Patriot Act, it was initially designed to temporarily expand surveillance and investigative powers of law enforcement agencies in domestic terrorism cases. Since then, however, both the act and the warrant have been routinely used in cases that stray far from their original intent.

You were saying?

Dude there's an Anti Human Trafficking Bill with $60m of funding attached to it, Law Enforcement was abusing the Patriot Act to get funding for their operations. It was more of a money grab than legit task force to hunt down Human Trafficking at a Massage Parlor.

You have not the slightest idea how secret and under ground a Human Trafficking Operation is. They're not operating in Strip Malls.

Also, there is more of a danger of being robbed or raped for these women than Human Trafficking. Those place loosely unsecured and lots of cash stored there. They operate silently because what they do is illegal so they normally don't go to the cops.

They've been robbed and attacked well before ya'll started hash tagging to show you cared.

Plenty of documented cases showing otherwise.

Most prostitution rings are classified as being associated with human sex trafficking. Maybe that's because of the broad language of how it is defined. Needless to say, it's scary how prevalent it actually is.

What?

Plenty of these places have been raided resulting in charges and convictions.

If you have access to westlaw they are easy to find, numerous articles on google as well.

Are you basing your opinion on the vanity fair article about Kraft?

We're supposed to be a nation and being a citizen of the nation should have some value. We shouldn't devalue citizenship by importing foreigners to give handjobs.
It does. Those people are willing to give handjobs for the opportunity of being here. That more than most citizens would be willing to do. We have an entire swath of "citizens" that only exist to collect the next gummint check.

I'm basing it on charges that get thrown out due to misuse of the law. Which has happen and do exist. Such examples would be busts in Seattle and Louisiana.

If Human Trafficking did occur its so marginal that it would be dishonest to say that Massage Parlors are a Bastian for Human Trafficking. That's really what I'm trying to fight in this thread. The hyperbole of it all.
