Favorite thing to make with ground deer meat?

I use it for everything I use ground beef for. Tacos, spaghetti, lasagna, chili, cabbage rolls, stuffed bell peppers, whatever. Recently I made vietnamese lettuce wraps with deer meat that turned out really good.

I like to get them to add it to some fat, spices, and chunks of pepper jack cheese and pineapple, then stick it in some casings.

What is your favorite thing to make w ground beef?

I’m same as Balls above, just shorter.

Made hamburger steaks/gravy the other night that was fantastic.

Deer Smash Burger Sliders




Smash pattie onto hot griddle. Season with S&P. Top with a handful of super-thinly sliced onions. Flip pattie over onto onions. Shred pepperjack on top of pattie.

Toast inside of buns and add your favorite condiments.

2/3 deer, 1/3 raw bacon...make simple meatballs...something like this:

We use it for everything. I grind half straight deer, and the other half with some fat. We did Shepherds Pie last night with the straight deer.

I get mine mixed with brisket fat and make everything you would make with regular ground meat . Chilli is the best IMO
or in queso dip

I get mine mixed with 10% ribeye fat and use it for anything you’d use ground beef for. Sometimes I’ll grind bacon and mix with it for burgers.

We probably go through 3-5 pounds per week.

I made stuffed shells with spinach, ricotta, and the ground deer meat. They were incredible.

My wife loves to make deer meat balls for spaghetti and deer taco's.
