Who the frick is running from the cops and gonna drive straight as frick for that to work? it needs to be a projectile from 20 yards away and cover the whole road. Then it'll work.

You gonna start swerving at 100 mph?

Have you seen a video where someone is running from the cops at 100 MPH and they're NOT swerving and otherwise driving like a fricking moron?

I'd change lanes. That deployment was slow as frick. Nice concept though.

I've seen a lot of videos of attempted pit maneuvers fail but they got close enough that this may work.

My first thought. Sounds great if your pursuee cooperates.

I kind of want to see the end result where the cop car attempts to brake and slow down the truck. I can see this having unexpected results. Be better off having something on the grapple to deflate the tire.

I was expecting something more high tech. Let me know when this becomes real.

Not sure why they don't just shoot the tires.

Have you ever tried to shoot a moving target while also moving?

i'm pretty sure that's from the concept video that came out years ago. that's not a real life high speed chase.

Not sure I would want to be tethered to a vehicle that may go out of control at high speed and cause my vehicle to go out of control at a high speed.

Cops spend half their entire career in training, I'm sure it's covered.
