Mayor Broom was quick to jump on Koy’s side. Hopefully she feels like a piece of shite.

Some type of action needs to be taken, what's good for some is good for all, Lsu needs to handle this the correct way

Meh

What Moore did was wrong, but he is an 18 year old

Woodward is the big fricking a-hole and villain here. He has life experience and his word holds weight and he had no issue at all throwing it around to ruin these men simply to make his like a little easier

Was there a violation of the law? ie disturbing the peace? If they didn't take action was it because of him? Did he make a formal complaint or was this a twitter complaint that escalated?

The actions he did following the incident with the cops led to an investigation that would not have happened had he not lied and kept his mouth shut. Investigations cost the city money and there should be repercussions if it is all built from a lie.

I’m not saying throw the kid away. I believe there should just be some sort of punishment from the city. Doesn’t have to be major thing but some community service specifically geared towards cop and inner city relations wouldn’t be a bad thing.

What he did was shitty snd pathetic. It’s awful and he should be punished but just slow down on throwing the kid away

He should have to apologize face to face with each officer and then issue a public apology.

After that he should serve a suspension but he shouldn’t be completely kicked off the team.

This is the most appropriate response.

But it's old school... and all of the connotations that come along with that.

Discipline and apology or he has to go...There are things bigger than sports...as 2020 showed us. Turning your head is akin to another timeout, give every kid a trophy culture...which is why we are in half the shite we are now.

I fricked up when I was that age, and I ended up in jail. Age has nothing to do with it. IF the guy embellished and/or lied, he should face consequences. Yeah, I agree he probably shouldn’t be just terminated completely, but there needs to be some sort of punishment or this will continue to happen and continue to divide communities. Saying it was just wrong is the actual wrong thing to do. This is all IMO. Again, IF this was in fact bullshite, Koy needs to be a man and own it.

Yep. It should be dealt with in some way. I'm not sure the appropriate response, but this whole thing caused a disruption in LSU sports and prompted official responses from CEO and Woodward. Now they look rather foolish for not making a more measured response. Moore's lie also put people's careers in jeopardy and probably caused some safety issues with the officers involved. We suspend players for smoking weed (something I disagree with) and this is much, MUCH worse for the team and LSU as a whole.

Well yeah, I'm sure if they feel that he for sure made it up and that its cut and dry then they will present it to the grand jury and if they decide so ,then he will be arrested.

That's how they treat those situations, this is nothing different. Lol,they dont just say ,"you need to apologize ",if you break the law

The wanna be victims seem to have control on the left side of the political spectrum.

Ah, yes, this was all social media driven. I don't think he had a formal complaint. Those officers should hope he stays at LSU, has a spectacular career and wait until he's in the NFL to file their civil suits.

He didn’t have an opinion that people disagree with. He deliberately lied and nearly ruined the lives of several people.

I agree because if it was the police officer at fault, I would be calling for him to be fired.

He needs a penalty just harsh enough so he won't pull this shite again.
