Flip it, make it Noem/Desantis
I’d love for conservatives to claim the first elected woman president
There’s already a party that thinks and behaves like this. You’d probably fit in better over there

Compare a Desantis speech to a Trump one a tell me which one brings facts to back what they are saying

But if Trump's polling well leading up to 2024 (much like he is now), and he's indicating interest and enthusiasm about the potential of running....why would the Republican Party push him aside
Because he will lose, bigly
You think voter turnout was high this election wait until if Trump runs again.

I’d rather have Ron DeSantis/Candace Owens.....But I’d def vote for DeSantis/Noem. When are people going to realize that the Republican Party has a huge opportunity to really go after black conservatives!!! The Republican Party would be wise to start putting people like Candace Owens, Kimberly Klasic, John James, Allen West, Burgess Owens etc etc in the national spotlight more?. Having somebody like Candace Owens on the ticket would be HUGE in my opinion. She plays one of the biggest roles in the future of the Republican Party. Her voice is invaluable!! She’s a Trump loyalist and Trump is very fond of her. Anyway, DeSantis should be selection.

I think its time to move on from Trump the individual to Trump aligned candidates. I think Trump laid out a blueprint for what GOP voters wanted their candidate to be but we can still hone in the messaging. Trump will be 78 in 2024 and I've got concerns about all the 80 year olds running our country.
Trump can essentially act as the Godfather of the GOP. Consult, advise, endorse. He can still very much be the face of the movement while selling the next era of MAGA.

So why are you arguing with me?
I never mentioned Biden one time
You have to be mentally slow
And lol at calling me liberal because I like Desantis over Trump

McConnell is currently 79.
Fienstein is 87.
Grassley is 87
Orrin Hatch was 84 when he retired in 2018.
Richard Shelby is 86 and retiring in two years.
Inhofe (Oklahoma senator) is 86.
Pat Roberts (Kansas senator) is 84.
Cochran (Mississippi Senator) is 84.
There are several others in their late 70s and 80s.
I think everyone is scared of the age thing because of how bad Biden looks. Trump is very sharp and could easily work into his early 80s as long as he’s healthy, which appears that he is as of now.
I hear ya. To me, the difference is the office of president puts a greater strain on a person’s well-being than being a senator or congressman. It’s a 24/7/365 job. Most 2-term presidents leave office looking haggard, probably due to a combination of a)what they know and b) the pressures of decision making day in and day out. People in congress take summers off and consider a hard day’s work to be listening to others bloviate during a business luncheon.
Not saying Trump wouldn’t be able to handle it necessarily. I personally think he thrives on it to a point. I appreciate what Trump has done to open the eyes of Americans to the foils of our federal government. But he’s not alone in this quest it appears. Desantis has proven his worth already IMO.

I would be very ok with this

I’d love to see Candace Owens run if for nothing more than watching Libs struggle with tearing apart a black woman

That’s a talking point the chamber of commerce and the cheap foreign labor lobby has abused for decades and our small towns, working poor and middle class are worse off now than they were when that whole nonsense started.
It's not a talking point. It's reality in SD. Outside of spikes (like COVID), SD's unemployment rate resides below the natural rate of unemployment. Without recruiting workers to the state, its economy wouldn't grow like it should.

If the mail in shite is drastically reduced the turn out will be way down. If the mail in shite is reduced, after the shite show that is/will be the Biden admin, any Republican who didn’t vote for trump will have no choice but to do so.

There is no law, rule or constitutional restriction on a president and vp being from the same state. It’s simply always been politically savvy to have candidates from different areas of the country in order to broaden appeal.

I like Noem and would have supported her in 2024, but feel like over the past year or two DeSantis really showed that he's the guy. That said, I think Noem could be a solid VP and is frankly better than a lot of the other options.
