Legos: who still builds them here?

I don't get the appeal at all. It's a kit with step by step instructions, how is that fun? I get annoyed every time one of my boys opens one of those damn boxes and proceeds to open bags 1 and 3 at the same time and then spread pieces around on the carpet. Anyway, when I was a kid we just had a bucket of pieces. You had to make up your own idea to build something, and you never had enough pieces to finish your idea. Legos suck.

My boy is all about the duplo blocks now.

I have 4 large bins full of legos from when I was a kid and can't wait for him to be old enough to play with them.

I stick with scale models.

I build them with my son. Can’t wait till he gets good enough to tackle something like this.

I have boxes and boxes of Legos put away. I have a few sets that are worth a fair amount of money.

I build them with my kids. We are working on a 6k piece set of Hogwarts Castle.

My kids playroom has Anakin and Obi-Wans Jedi starfighters, a snowspeeder, Voltron, and the Saturn V. I have the Razorcrest from the Mandalorian in a box I haven’t started yet.

Really want the Batwing but I honestly don’t know where I’d put it.

I have every lego city set since the early 2010s, it’s my hobby
