so glad I never bought this.
All the EA press before it released was basically "look how good we can make games look!"
I couldn't tell you what the story was then and I still can't. That's a red flag for me.

I had a buddy that shilled this game so hard. Even after playing it for a month. He kept falling for the EA promises.
As a veteran Madden player and former NBA live fan, I told him he would only be disappointed in the end. Fortunately he quit playing after another month.

Given EA’s history of making their subsidiaries do fricking stupid projects and then shutting them down when they fail, how long does BioWare have?

I actually am one of the few that enjoyed it. I don’t play online with friends very often, always much preferred single player rpgs but I had a good time playing with friends when it came out. As someone who’s not big on the looter shooter genre I went in with 0 expectations. I can see how die hards of the genre were dissapointed though

This thing was so poorly managed, I actually feel sorry for the guys that worked on it.
They were pressured to make a Destiny clone, on the Frostbite engine. None of the developers on the team had any experience with either of those things. They pushed it out knowing it would fail.
