re: Rumor: Jon Favreau and Kathleen Kennedy are at war after Gina Carano's firing

Carano is the flavor of the month for people looking to white knight so this is going to get a ton of upvotes, and it already has... but if Mike Zeroh predicted the sun would raise in the morning and set in the evening I'd tend to doubt him.

Has he been right? Yes. But he makes a dozen predictions or statements a week. He is bound to hit on one sooner or later.

Zeroh is also real bad about taking something very minor and blowing it up into the end of the world.
If Pedro Pascal stubs his toe on the set then its "Did Pascal suffer career ending stunt injury?" He is about as far from being a trustworthy source as is humanly possible. Even the other clickbait Star Wars Youtubers mock the guy.

Now do I suspect that Kennedy and Favreau have, at best, a very chilly relationship? Sure. I mean you can get that from the behind the scenes footage where Favreau, Filoni, and their directors tend to look at Kennedy like she's something their dog just rolled in.

I'm just saying don't get all excited about something from a guy who has, at the very best, a passing acquaintance with the truth.

Has any rumor involving Kathleen Kennedy over the past few years proven to be true?

I'd revel in the news of her departure from Lucasfilm, but if she still has a job after the sequel shitfest and the Galaxy's Edge park that no one wants to go to, then I'm afraid she's not going anywhere unless it's on her own accord.

Favreau probably was a little pissed that he now he has to write a semi-major character out of his show, but I'm sure he knows that Disney actively caters only to the Twitter accounts run by teens who have pronouns in their bio, and no one else.

Jon Favreau is the hero we need.

if favreau gets canned from star wars, that brand will be headed for the toilet in hyperdrive.

It had a decent crowd when I was there a few weeks ago. Smuggler's Run had a 40 minute wait and for Rise of the Resistance you had to log onto the Disneyworld app right at 7am or 1pm (one minute late and it was booked solid) when the virtual queue opened to reserve your "boarding pass" to ride that day.

I wouldn't say no one wants to go. But it could've been a lot more exciting if they had based it around any part of Star Wars besides the sequel trilogy.

I think if I ever became famous, I'd just delete all my social media and never use it. Or if I did it'd just be pictures of my pets and whatever I'm eating. No political posts, be them liberal or conservative - just adorable puppies and the Italian dish I got at whatever place I'm eating.

Congrats. You were right about one thing. You do have to be in the USA to seek asylum in the USA. I admit this is a detail I never looked into before you mentioned it. Educate yourself, and you can be right about more things.

ETA: Of course, we aren't the only nation that allows individuals to seek asylum. We're just the best one. For now.
