Rumor: Jon Favreau and Kathleen Kennedy are at war after Gina Carano's firing

Favreau wanted Carano to remain while Kennedy was the one who made the ultimate decision to fire her. Lucasfilm had been split between re-casting Cara Dune or writing her out of the universe completely. Favreau threatened to quit if they re-cast the role and it now looks like they're simply going to write her out of the Star Wars Universe.

Isn't Kennedy on her way out? Reportedly?

Just write her out until everyone forgets in a year or so.

Disney's statement on why they fired Gina is a flat out lie. Merely mentioning the social atmosphere of Nazi Germany in no way amounts to antisemitism or "disparaging" anyone, as they said.

I hope she sues the shite out of them.

Her contract is up this year and there has been no word if it'll be extended.

As much as I enjoy the show and think it’s the best thing Star Wars since the original trilogy, I kind of hope he does walk out and Disney goes back to ruining Star Wars and suffers for it.

We get it.

You are a simp for SJWs.

If we agree to assume you think any positive representation of straight white males, Christians, or rugged masculinity is a horrible, horrible thing. . .will you agree to not be so predictable with your posts?

PS- Before you make a 6-page indignant, yet whiny retort. . .just know that I will not read it, nor will I respond.

Thank you, and good evening.

She was fired for being a dumbass on social media, TWICE. You short-dicks were too busy with another lie back in November to remember what happened.

That was no big deal, either.

Carano has herself to blame for the firing. But make no mistake, it was a HUGE double standard.

Bill Burr's monologue on SNL was worse than anything she posted.

He still has a job.

Her coworkers have tweeted worse stuff than hers. . .but they were the correct political bent.

That's not what Disney said.

Favreau gets it and I’ve heard rumors that Favreau is actually pretty conservative. Plus he’s the one who put his neck on the line for RDJ. I’m sorry, fire that glum judgmental twat of a producer who simply got where she is by fetching Speilberg’s coffee, make Favreau the head producer of Star Wars, reshoot Episodes VIII and IX, and give us a Star Wars universe worth a damn.

I’d encourage you to listen to Shapiro with her on his Sunday Special. This comes across as even more ridiculous after listening to it than I thought: YouTube

I feel like these Star Wars Youtubers are always sensationalizing news involving Kennedy for the clicks. I think Favreau may be upset, but at the end of the day he’ll tow the company line and keep the Star Wars Disney+ train rolling.

He is as apolitical a human that exists.

He just was promised complete control over his show and their spinoffs, and Kennedy went behind his back and fired the future of one of those spinoffs.

Favreau unlike most in Hollywood actually has some balls. He really put his career on the line casting RDJ as Iron Man and man did that pay off. Everyone thought Favreau was insane to trust the hands of the entire Marvel franchise with him.

listen to Shapiro
Shapiro lost my respect in November.

Unsubscribed and deleted his podcast. He was the "establishment republican" I had as part of my rotation.

I use Rubin for that slot now.

My rotation of poli podcasts:

Establishment GOP: Rubin Report
Center Right: Glenn Loury Show
Libertarian right: Kmele Foster on Fifth Column
Libertarian: Michael Malice
Libertarian Left: Sam Harris
Center Left: Joe Rogan
Establishment Dem: Jimmy Dore

What was dumb about failing to put her personal pronouns on her twitter page, or speaking her mind about trannie athletes?

You're such a little troll turd that you don't even know what you're talking about. What they said she did - is a lie, and I can walk your dumb arse through it step by step if you like.
