And before I buy the wrong weed killer....what kills it?

Hurts like a mu——- when kids step on it.

Good ol thistle. As kids we’d pull it up from underneath and “splat” each other with it on the back. Shite hurt like hell.

In my experience, need to pull the roots up, or it will come back.

As others have said, it's a thistle, a native wildflower. Consider leaving it alone for bees, butterflies, and other pollinators.

pour a couple cups boiling water right in the center. Works for fire ants also.
