Any good ways to do them inside instead of grilling them?

slap them on a skillet or a griddle. Cook and rotate until you're done and the outside is evenly cooked. Never poke holes in it or slice it before cooking. This gives it a nice snap, which is the key to a good hotdog.

i toss them in a skillet with a little butter or olive oil; brown the outside. much better than boiling them.

I do mine on a hot, dry cast iron skillet to get a good sear and a crisp skin. My mom used to boil them when i was a kid, but after trying them on a griddle i can't go back.

Buy one of those electric steel roller things that keep them hot for a couple of weeks. Or go to a Circle K.

Although I haven't discovered a way to cook hot dogs that's bad, I believe that they should be steamed. Unbelievably good.

I do this all the time. If you don't have crab boil just throw some Tony's and garlic powder into a pot an boil them in that.

Wrap them in a slice of bacon, broil, and at the end add cheese.

AMEN

All these people with 'gourmet hot dog' cooking techniques...

You're still just eating lips and asses.
