After watching some Friday Night Lights on Hulu last night it made me think which town in LA is still racially divided. My first thought that came to mind was Bogalusa or Port Barre. Any thoughts on the OT? I haven't really traveled to much small towns in LA
I mean towns of under like 15k. We all know EBR/ Nola/ S'port are pretty divided

New Iberia.
Plenty of good Cajun people still there but it's being ripped apart by thugs.

A lot of them, but the tension is being propagated and inflamed by the media. Get two southern baws of different races in the same room, BSing about the weather at the gas station, helping each other out of a bind, or working together on a project at work and you’d never know they were different races if you just read a transcript of their interaction.

That’s where 99.9% of the true south is. No virtue signaling or woe-is-me victimization. Just people respecting people because they are people and God loves ‘em and so do we.

I agree, I always thought racial tensions are extremely exacerbated in the south by others. The most racist people I have ever met have all been from the Northeast and they don't even know it

None.

Racism is a fantasy created by the media.

Absolutely. And another thing people need to understand is that just because I may not agree with or be critical of something someone else does, does NOT mean I hate that person, their race, or their culture... or them mine. People can and do disagree from time-to-time, but we can still love each other, respect each other as people, and get along just fine. That is TRUE diversity and Dem commies don’t like that. They want to force ALL of us into their little box to control us, and the best way to do that is to turn us against each other and convince us that THEY are our only friends. Screw that! I’m gonna get along with my neighbors no matter what color they are, and we are gonna disagree sometimes but I’ll still love em and voice my opinions and let them voice theirs too... and then we’ll laugh and pat each other on the back.

This. A THOUSAND fricking times this.

Having lived in Louisiana and now south Florida for awhile it’s not even comparable. There is more actual, true racism amongst a lot of the older snow birds from Jersey, Connecticut, etc. They spend so much time shite talking their perceived biases of the south they don’t even realize just how biased they are to other folks different than they are. They love to talk about being tolerant but would never entertain the idea of driving through a black or Hispanic neighborhood.
