I wouldn’t call it large, but by comparison to the rest of Louisiana, Lafayette nor Shreveport

OP would rather live in Mobile and Augusta than Houston, Atlanta, Charlotte, NO...etc. Nice troll.

Gotta be some sort of mentally deranged to choose to live near a lot of other people and want to be in Mobile or Augusta over other populous cities

I'd rather live in the Mobile suburbs on the east side of the bay over Atlanta, Houston, Dallas etc.

Atlanta is the most overrated city I’ve ever been to

Atlanta was great in early to mid 90’s. The Olympic Games in 96, Buckhead was arguably one of the best party scenes in the county. Great times.

That's nice. I don't want to live in Houston, Dallas, or Atlanta, but I would gladly die in those places versus spending more than a handful of years anywhere near Mobile & its suburbs.

Basically any city with over 70k now is going to have too much trouble. Cities attract trouble.

I wouldn't call the east side of the bay "suburbs" of Mobile.

I wouldn't live in any city. Most of them have decent suburbs. Even north MS across the line from Memphis is passable.

City of Jacksonville itself sucks. Surrounding areas of Jacksonville have great places to live, some of the best in the country.

my buddy lives on Ponte Vedra Blvd right by Sawgrass and that area is BALLER!

Not a fan. If I worked there I'd live in Aiken, SC. Great little place with a beautiful downtown area.

You're a fool. Birmingham is an awesome city. Check Highland Park within the City Limits.

Your loss. I've been here for 2+ years now and like it a lot. I live near Town Center and while traffic sucks, the area itself is solid and there is no shortage of stuff to do.

Not going to argue this but this could be said for alot of big cities. Agree Jax is great if you live towards the beach areas!

There is a metric frickton of money in Ponte Vedra.

I like Atlantic Beach a lot as far as places in Duval County close to the city. In the city, Riverside is the best area.

Amelia Island is the best place in the area.

Atlanta because of the traffic.

New Orleans - Been there, done that, found a place with better jobs and lower cost of living.
