I never saw Pistol or CJ score one of their 50 or 60 point games in person.

My most is Tom Hodson (All-SEC LSU QB for you youngsters) with 48 in a freshman game (out of 56 his team scored). There also was no 3-point line since it was in 1982 right before the 3 was added to high school/middle school level. Would have been about 60 with the 3 pt line.

Anybody ever saw one of the rare 100 point games?

J'Connor Peoples scored 81 points in a high school game I attended a couple years back, his team scored 87 so he scored all but 6

My Dad would take me to Grinnell basketball games whenever they played St. Norbert or Lawrence and I saw a few 50 pt games. Watching them sub out players like hockey, full court press, and just chuck 3's was a sight to see back in the early 2000's

Was in high school and went to ole miss for I think south seas. Went to the glass/cj game. Best game I’ve ever been too, even though the tiger lost. Was just incredible

Mahmoud Abdul-Jackson scored 50 vs. Tennessee in the PMAC. I was there and seent it. And Tennessee had a big goofy white dude who flipped off the student section. Doug Roth was the name.

I sat court side on the base line when Kobe dropped 50 on the Hornets in OKC in 2007. It was incredible.

I saw him score 43 (I think) against South Lafourche that same year, but SL won the game.

Watched Max Nakwaasah score 58 points for Centenary in 2011 when I was in school there. Broke Robert Parrish’s school record. Good times at the Gold Dome

The amazing thing about that game was that they both did it on the same night.

Each of them could hit 50+ on any given night, but for both of them to do it in the same game was incredible. I'll never forget watching it on TV.
