That’s actually still the Louisiana plate for pickup trucks. It’s weird how cars and other vehicles have different tags than trucks. Louisiana has way too many different ones. They need to do a clean up and re-issue one single tag that is the base tag.

This is true. My F150 in 2014 got the good ole plate but my car has that ugly pelican plate.

I love how clean and simple Texas plates are. Gets the job done without looking terrible on your vehicle.

Alabama's current main license plate is a response to the previous one that displayed a beach theme. Those mountain folks were angered that they weren't feeling represented, hence the mountainy theme. Personally, I don't like it, but at least we have about 100 other choices of alternative and specialty plates
