Destroya already shutting down bars

The following bars were part of the closures announced by Cantrell:
Cadi Corner, 2802 Cherry St.
TJ Quills, 7600 Maple St.
The District, 711 Tchoupitoulas St.
The Red Eye, 852 South Peters St.
In a statement released on social media, Cantrell said in some instances, the bars were locked and patrons — many unmasked — were served past the 11 p.m. closing time mandated by the city. Cantrell's statement also included photos of a large gathering inside The Red Eye and a barricade being used to prop open an entry door.
