Caramel. Lots of caramel. But I drink it over ice, so that’s probably why. I just had my third pour of it agin tonight, and now I’m moving on to this surprisingly good Irish for $30

1PD is this wonderful barrel pick by Martin’s. I’ve never really had Japanese whisky before, but this is great. They had a bottle opened to try, and I immediately grabbed one after tasting. I highly recommend. Reminds me of Irish whisky with that sweet cookie type taste, but it’s unique in its own way.

I really like their sweet wheat, but otherwise I’m not much of a fan of their stuff. I’m in the minority I know.
My friend gave me another Japanese whiskey to try. I’m comparing them tonight. Both are good but this Martin’s pick is really something special.
