Normally when people talk about the biggest bust in NFL history, its the QBs that get mentioned, Russel, Leaf, etc.. Those names are the first to get mentioned, but what non QB player received a lot of hype going into the NFL an was a total bust?

I can think of quite a few who were bust, but not sure if they would be the biggest bust.

One player I thought would have a good NFL career, but didn't was Laquon Treadwell.

Aaron Curry was heralded as a “can’t miss” prospect and was taken 4th overall. He is 34 years old and has been out of the league for almost a decade lol.

The Rams drafted Greg Robinson in 2014 2nd overall. He had been a outed as a can't miss LT and he got to the league and was completely lost because he played in Gus Malzahn's basic offense. He was out of the league pretty quickly.

ETA well I guess he was in the league as late as 2019, but I know the Rams moved on after like 2 seasons.

He got busted with 157 pounds of weed last year. Safe to say he isn't going to be back anytime soon.

Browns pulled off the rare double 1st rd bust in the 2014 draft. Drafted Justin Gilbert at #8 (OkSt CB) and then Manziel at #22.

eta: Future pro bowlers drafted in between the 8 and 22 spot: Barr, Ebron, Lewan, Donald, OBJ, Shazier, Clinton-Dix, Zach Martin, CJ Mosely, Kyle Fuller

Yeah I thought Richardson was going to have a better than average RB career, but he was defiantly a bust.

Benjamin looked promising in the beginning (if I recall, he was the #1 WR in CAR when Steve Smith got hurt) but it went downhill quick.

out of penn st right? Who was the other DL (I think he was on the line) out of Penn St? Was it Lavar Arington? I think they both went to Cleveland, but both of them were a bust right?

Lavar Arrington played in Washington and had a very good career.
