Please just stop!! This is what some of you guys do. Find a BS source(link), get your hopes up for a candidate that you like, then out comes conflicting stories about a deal or no deal... then blame O for not locking it up. Then you'll melt on the board about this being a complete Shitshow. So please just stop, PLEASE. Its all leverage. Trying to get what they want from Georgia. Freeman did it with ND, Neilson did it with Saints, and Arnett tried it with State. Now its Schumann's time. I'll just wait on Blake Baker...lol

Who is this Zach Ragan guy that y'all are basing your "scoop" on? He doesn't even live in Louisiana, and that's a hack fan site that he writes for.

But I guess this is what passes for inside info these days.

Maybe Schumann is a really good young coach, but if I'm Corey Raymond and this is the guy they bring in, I'm not happy. And maybe neither is 2/3 of the defensive locker room.

At least it’s safe to say Schumann is in the mix, and is likely top 3 on the radar right now. But I wouldn’t look too much more into this until something more is released, though at this time it doesn’t appear to be a leverage play, per my source.

I was listening to Rene Nadeau this morning on the Trahan/Daniels Tailgater's show. He said that Schumann was interviewing this weekend and that he thought LSU would be hiring its coach in the next couple of days. He didn't call it a done deal (everyone has learned their lesson on that) but the implication was that it was his job to lose right now. Does not sound like a bad hire.
