Key and Peele was better than Chappelle's Show

Key and Peele's problem was consistency

their best skits were 9 or 10/10 funny, like Dave's

but their worst bits were damn near unwatchable

I like Key and Peele a lot but Chappelle was ahead of his time and still relevant to this day.

Who still quotes Key and Peele sketches? I mean, quite a few of them are solid, but they're not in the average vernacular.

All of these were on the top of my head.

I liked Key and Peele, but there aren't really many quotes that instantly come to mind or instantly recognizable. You start quoting Key and Peele at a party, most people won't have any idea what you're talking about.

Both shows at their absolute best were closer than many think.

But at their absolute worst, Chapelle is way better than key and Peele.

The worst of Chapelles show was still funny. They worst of Key and Peele was cringeworthy
