So, I bought a Jeep Gladiator Rubicon for her for our anniversary. It was like the 20th, 25th or the 30th anniversary, hell, I don’t know.

Anyway, I want the truck back and I have vehicles for her and her boyfriend to choose from. I have a 2001 F250 (standard, diesel), 2015 F250 (auto, gas), 2020 Ford Fusion SE (auto, gas)

Obviously, I am in the collision repair industry and not one of these vehicles is “perfect”, but what’s expected of me and what is realistically (lawfully) expected of me?

She pays ZERO towards car notes, insurance, phone, rent, etc.

BGInfo- she worked “for” me and was paid a salary before she was “fired”.

Why do you want it back? Go buy another one.

It's a financial decision if she keeps it or not.

Think I’d focus more on the drinking tonight than divorce question for the OT.

You bought it as a gift. You have no legal standing to take it back.

Do you have a lawyer? If so, ask them. If not, get one.

Did you pay cash??? Always wondered how people buy their wives a brand new vehicle for a "present"?

Also, what broad opts for the Gladiator over the regular Wrangler? Should have tipped you off right there

because it’s in my name and on my credit. I’ve dropped from a 790 to a 650 in less than a year.

If I stop paying and let the vehicle get repo’d, I’m fricked even more. If I can get her to take one of the other vehicles I own on the lot, I can hopefully save my credit score and roll a bit closer to freedom with minimal damage.

Do you mean you can’t remember how long you’ve been married or the Jeep could be five, ten, or fifteen years old?

That actually has an impact on the advice you’re asking for.
