I appreciate Donald Trump fighting for the average American, despite the entire congress and media working against him. For a reality TV star he didn’t do a bad job, Peace in the Middle East, record low unemployment, strong arse economy pre-covid, didn’t start a war, fixed NAFTA, among other achievements.

That handful of things is more than George Bush and Obama did for us combined.

Most importantly he represented the working and middle class and made us feel like we have a voice. During the early morning hours of November 4th and the days that followed, the establishment made sure to remind us that our voices don’t mean shite.

Even on the way out the door he has shined a bright light on the massive corruption within all levels of American government.

Thank you President Trump, and frick the usurper Joe Biden and all the lazy trash that voted for him.

Remember the time he shared the fact with the American public that our NATO partners weren’t paying their agreed upon shares and their economies were being propped up by our tax dollars? How many politicians knew this and didn’t think we deserved to know?

Trump was a bombastic personality with an outsized way of making claims, about half true and half false.

But he was effective for this country where it mattered...policy.

Personally, I think he is a clown show of a personality, but he was effective in a leadership role and made the right decisions for America.

Maybe we’re so far gone that anyone heading in a semi conservative position looks amazing at this point, but I felt he was effective as you’re going to get in today’s world.

I was not a big Trump supporter by any stretch of the imagination but I didn't find him to be a terrible president either. I've never seen the media go after someone like that for 4 years, even W. Hell, they are trying to remove him from office on his last day

President Trump tried to rip our country from the grips of the government and give it back to us. For free, mind you. In the process he exposed the corruption and greed of that government. For that I’ll be forever grateful.

Over half the country has been convinced that they get their freedom at the consent of the government. It’s a shame everyone wants to be free but no one wants to take on the responsibility that comes with that.

He's got to pardon Snowden and Assange to prove this to me.

100% agree. Only four more years and then he is out. Dreading 2024 as much as you.

I agree with the gist of your post but he was around long before The Apprentice was ever a thing. They always used that to disparage him. As if he got himself a fancy desk and told people they were “fired” and that was it. But it was BS line of attack. The guy was a real estate magnate for decades and dabbled in all sorts of other businesses along the way. We were fortunate enough that he decided to get into politics for the time that he did. Because this here

Is absolutely and undeniably true. Whatever one may make of his personality, he didn’t sell out the average guy and gal to K Street lobbyists, the MIC or commie interlopers. Unlike a certain political party and family that’s about to ascend to the height of power. Trump was an American original. He always will be and for that, I’m thankful.

I just find it hilarious that the media did an about face in about 24 hours. Now media leakers are bad, migrant caravans need to be turned away, crushing protests are imperative, and the media is already writing the fluff pieces about the president that they haven't done in 4 years

His America first policies regarding jobs, trade, etc are what every US president should follow without exception, it should be right behind national security as the top two things on their overall agenda. Nothing otherwise makes a damn bit of sense.

But his biggest accomplishment to me is forcing DC to show exactly what pieces of shite they are, completely exposed them as the thieving self centered class that doesn’t give a shite about any of this country’s citizens except when they need to use them.

Hopefully that woke up a lot of people that were oblivious.

One of the best things he did was expose how pure evil the media is. I mean we always knew but now they don’t even try to hide how evil they are. They used to at least try to hide it but it’s all out in the open now

It's going to be a 4 year love fest. Wait and see what happens if Kamala gets installed in the next few years.

I'll be shocked if he makes it a year. Hell, they'll probably be questioning his mental health inside 6 months to get their queen installed.

First, they'll say he's fit as a fiddle until they just can't cover for him anymore.

Loved this line... it amazes me in this new world that many people would like to see you arrested and cleansed for this “thought.”

Very disturbing.

I'll give him 2 years because I think he's wanted to be president his whole life and will do his best to maintain it as long as possible. I don't think he'll make it 4 years though.

I was thinking about the night Trump was elected. I was driving at 1am in the morning down I-459 SW of Birmingham. I rolled down my window and was singing at the top of my lungs...

"Happy Days Are Here Again!"...I got a couple of looks with the few cars I encountered. LOL!

Guess Wednesday night I should do the same thing but change the word Happy to Shitty!

Ahh, good times!
