Playing there this year for the first time since 2007 I believe. I’ve never been and would like to make the trip since we never play there. Would like to get some reviews from anybody that has been. TIA

edit: should have clarified, i mean for football. thought the "playing there for the first time since 07" would have gave that away but i guess not

I’m sure it’s probably changed some in the 14 years since we’ve been there. I normally fly for anything over 6 hours because I hate road trips but I bet it would be a nice drive up through the mountains

Folks live near Florence, AL. Trying to talk them into going. I’ve never been to Kentucky before. Trying to cross that one off.

Went in 07, so it wasn't the best trip.

It’s. great trip. Beautiful area with impressive horse farms. For years the game was in October and it was great weather to catch the game and go to the horse races. Fun trip.

I think we played at Kentucky in like 2017.
Bigby Williams made the tip in at the buzzer.
And we won the SEC that year.

I don’t think anyone’s alive that was old enough to have gone.

I've made at least a 4-5 trips there but I haven't been since 2007. It's not a big city and it's easy to navigate around. When we played in October it was really nice with the weather being cool. The fans were always nice to us.

One of my favorite SEC road trips.

Went in 2013-2014. Anthony Hickey went off and took the game to OT and we lost on a tip in by Julius Randle. Sad day but cool experience Rupp is fricking massive.

ETA: Should have read the OP thought this was about basketball

Never been. This is the first time we’ll play in Kentucky in 14 years correct?

Stadium is shite...but you’ll have fun. UK fans know how to tailgate, but it’s nothing like LSU obviously
