My Girlfriend was a student in 07 and went. other than losing in a miserable game she said it was a great trip.
I've NEVER been. We're planning to make the trip with the kids(well whichever frickers wanna come with us). FYI We love road trips and driving. Knoxville in 2017 and Nasvhille in 2019. This one will be fun.

More centralized. You are closer to the part of the Bourbon trail in Bardstown. And there is also a path in downtown Louisville. Bar & restaurant scene is very solid.
