Obviously. I’ve had COVID twice and I got an extra black market 3rd vaccine dose just in case.

Can’t be too careful.

U won't get it twice any time soon

NYT Article from November about how EXTREMELY rare it is to get it twice...ONE reinfection case documented in the US...5 worldwide

The 90 rule is just so they can reallocate your vaccine to someone else who may not have the antibodies or be as protected as you are. I have a coworker that contracted Covid between his vaccine doses and said f it and he went ahead with the 2nd dose vaccine the day after he came out of quarantine.

Not enough data on how long the antibodies last.

Antibodies never last that long, nor are more supposed to be produced unless you T and B cells recognize the return of the threat.

Having recovered from covid is better than the vaccine.

A couple of German studies found that people who were covid asymptomatic had had one of the coronaviruses that are part of the common cold.

I had Covid in mid-December and got my first vaccine injection last week. Had a significant fever the day after the injection.

Had called my doctor in advance to see if it was okay to get the vaccine before this so-called 90- day waiting period, and he did not discourage me from getting the vaccine, so I did.

Wife had Covid twice: early July and early December. Positive swabs both times. Same symptoms both times: GI distress and distension.

No reason for me to walk around with masks or take a vaccine at this point.

I had it in November and my physician (maga, fwiw) said it was still best practice to wear a mask and social distance because I could help transmit it.

I listened to him.

As I understand it, covid immunity doesn't last but a few months so I'll probably take it when it's available.

On those mRNA...
Imagine getting chemo therapy because you could develop cancer. This is closer to that than a vax. You might call it preventative gene therapy, totally insane.
