You don’t have to vote for them.

Not voting for them may be the only way they get the message.

Make them believe it.

The goal of the Republicans and their failure theater is to teach you the futility of your ideals. Which is ironic since they have to cheat to push through their politics. The Washington Generals is a good metaphor for their purpose. They're just there for entertainment and are choreographed to lose.

They don't care, they don't care about you or your family.

Once you figure that part out, it will make more sense.

Its a plan.

the problem with this is that, even if you can win some seats, you take away power from non-Democrats

DEMs 50%
GOP 40%
TPP 10%

DEMs win forever. TPP always loses

DC for people in weak red districts and new reps have to play the popularity game.

Honestly, it's humanly impossible for one person to represent 730,000 people, or whatever a normal House Rep is responsible for representing.

The number of reps hasn't been updated since the number of people they represented was 30,000 - the size of a small town now.

Now they represent 730,000 people each, and can't manage it.

We should have about 1,500 people in the house, honestly.

Problem is that we have to wait 2 years, and by then, it probably won't matter which button we press as Dominion will make the choice for us.

Ive never looked at it like that, but it would give some power back to the people as originally intended.

I’ll continue to say it SFP: nothing will change if you maintain the status quo.

I don’t care. Simply casting votes for GOP RINOs will change nothing. Hearing “I promise to do better” will change nothing. Taking your votes elsewhere will. Maybe not in the short term, but the party has to be taught a hard lesson. And unless we’re planning on taking up arms, that’s the only way to do it. And they’ll either adapt, or they’ll become irrelevant.

Yuuuuuuup. And the EC should have a larger fixed component due to our increasingly urban population.

I saw her too. She was absolutely horrible and just committed to being a one term Congressman. She threw Trump so far under the bus. Well, at least she will be welcome at DC restaurants and not an immediate target of the Democrats.

If we kept the rule of thumb, and had a rep represent 30,000 people each, we'd have about 11,700 members of the House of Representatives. I was off by a factor of 10, lol.

That would make it much harder for kneejerk idiotic legislation to pass.

I don't get how people still think the vote actually is being counted correctly. Like voting does anything but provide some sort of virtue signal as you take a picture and post your 'I voted' sticker on the social jerktubes. The old Republic if you can keep it is gone.
