As I reported last week Bill O'Brien, the former #Texans and Penn State head coach visited Tuscaloosa about replacing Steve Sarkisian as Alabama’s OC.. I’m hearing that deal is expected to happen in the next few days.

I don’t hate it. As long as Saban doesn’t let him make any trades, I think he’ll do pretty darn good as OC.

How is it Alabama can close coaches so quick and we can't?

As a long time Houstonian......lololololol

And that’s not to say he isn’t a decent coach. I just can’t wait for those 2 to be on the same staff. From NFL GM and Head Coach to college OC. Will def be interesting.

On second thought, his coaching sucked too. He def got less with more. No innovation and extremely conservative and predictable.

Hopefully he’s less conservative with his play calling than he was in the NFL.

He was great at Pedo State. Interesting choice by Nick. Different from his last 3 guys in Lane, Daboll, and Sark.

And BOB has become a known egotistical a-hole in his last few years in Houston. Will be interesting to see how humble the firing made him.

You’ll feel better if you stop comparing everything to Alabama. As in, how come Ryan Reynolds is banging Blake Lively and not me?!
