I'm going to throw Mark Hamill out there.

Even though he does amazing characters, there's always Hamill in there. But for him it works.

Not an actor, but great narrator in Mike Rowe who does the show "Dirty Jobs" and narrates many nature specials on TV.

As for actors, Morgan Freeman with honorable mention to James Earl Jones.

Mathew McConahey has made an entire career off of an east Texas accent alone.

Tough between Morgan Freeman and James Earl Jones.

I think if you asked people what is the most "iconic" character voice in film history most would probably say Darth Vader, which everyone knows is JEJ.

I think if you asked people who they would choose to narrate some important documentary, most might choose Morgan Freeman.

Irons was the only one that came to mind outside of Jones and Freeman.

I think Alan Rickman deserves a nod...but James Earl Jones is Darth Vader for a reason.

Forgot about him. Had a very distinct voice. Remember growing up and watching Ripleys believe it or not.
Another one from the past is Vincent Price.
