If anyone likes some good quality food from the other side of the world check out this place! It is a Indian restaurant founded on health being wealth. The food is all separate so rice and bread aren't included, but it’s worth the extra money as it’s all large servings and delicious! I haven’t found anything I don’t like here. Last time I went I had to order Togo as they are trying to do their part to stop covid so no dine in. Give it a try! Located on
11904 Coursey Blvd

While I usually do laugh at these, poor C&K has had a rough go at it. They flooded during the 2016 flood and had to deal with that.. then Covid hit and they had to get rid of the biggest reason people went there (the buffet). So now they're takeout only and I can't imagine are doing so hot with that restriction holding them back.

Is this no longer owned by Mr. Kahn? I loved this restaurant when I lived in the area and he was the nicest person. This doesn't seem like something he would do...shameless advertising on a message board.

I hate that CnK, Bay leaf, and Swaggat are all over on that side of town. I wish a place was closer to the east side of town. Indias is closer but not as good and expensive.

Agreed. I hope the rumors of C&K moving to gov st area are true. It’s my second favorite (behind Swagat) but would quickly become number one if it were closer to where I live and drive most days

In times like this, you have to adapt to survive. Swaggat started doing their lunch boxes during the time of COVID and it as been a big hit for them. You get rice, a side, a main dish, salad, dessert and naan. My wife and I pick it up all the time. Great deal.

This is in no way a dig on CnK, as I have never been, but just an illustration of how to adapt your business to the change in time.

It’s my favorite restaurant ever. Everything I’ve had has been excellent, and the owner is nice as can be. He doesn’t do much to promote the place, but I’m still surprised it’s not more popular. Try it, it will not disappoint.

I usually get Chicken Tikka Masala, Jafrani Rice, and the plan Naan.

I want to say we got some type of fried vegetable appetizer but I don't see on the menu so maybe I was dreaming.

We've also got a Saag dish as well that was very good.

Were they not located on Coursey in 2016?

I don't live too far ... and I've been meaning to try the place for years ... just haven't yet.

Place is delicious and their naan is da bomb. Haven't been since covid and they started only doing takeout but I've been craving it. They stopped doing buffet before covid but you could get a sampler plate with rice naan and two or three different curries.
