Mac Jones now the highest career Yards per Attempt in the history of college football

11.1 yards per attempt
LINK
The ever-present Rant skeptics ranted that Jones hasn't had as many passing attempts as many other QB's. So for apples-to-apples, I looked up 'yards per attempt'.
Son of a gun, LOL
Career leader. Nice

Someone should hire the offensive coordinator

Probably could have been higher if Waddle didn't go down, Metchie is solid but Waddle was another elite wideout
This thread is going to end up turning into a shite show for the wrong reasons but yes Mac has had an impressive season.

It’s amazing what those Bama receivers can do after they catch the bubble screen.

Its crazy how we looked at Burrows year as generational then Jones went and had a year similar in terms of efficiency

Combine that with the best completing percentage of all time and he’s got to be the GOAT college QB, right?

Particularly when Jones has studied the D's tendencies like crazy. Then delivers a catchable ball to the right window - with perfect timing.
Over and over again.

Burrow had the completion record for the entire season until the national championship game.
Burrow also went against two top 5 defenses in the last 3 games of the season.
Mac has played less games and faced far less top ranked defenses.

If he wins the Natty, he'll be one of them. Hasn't surpassed Burrow, but he's WAY better than advertised.

Dumbest comment you've made today.

Well. You’re a redneck Louisiana fan, so you would think that.

If we had him at THE UCF we would be playing for the championship again.

OP, hope you practice safe sex, as much as you're slobbering all over him in various threads lately. An LSU fan ? Yea, ok.

I would be curious to see what it is if you remove yards after catch. Smith led the nation in YAC according to Roll Bama Roll.
And according to College Football Film Room, 21% of his targets were behind the LOS, and he averaged 7.7 yards per reception on those.
Passing stats can be picked at all day long...
