How many times have you been to ED? Cause I don’t think I’ve ever heard of them having exotics running.
La Downs and maybe FG. But never heard of them
running anything other than horses at ED. But I don’t live there, so maybe I missed it.

Haven’t seen too many Arabs there either. Lots o Messicans, but not too many Arabs.

The Pensacola dog track was a fun visit while at the beach. It was the low roller trash clientele that made it.

We walked in wearing decent shorts, polo shirt, etc., and people looked at us like we had on tuxedos. They actually spent some money to spruce it up in recent years, which detracted from its trashy charm.

Been to Palm beach, Jax , and Melbourne dog tracks.

Only loser in this, is the dogs. They were slaughtered, bac when they were barely useful, now, not being useful at all to trainers/owners, they will find shite loads of trucks, full of dead greyhounds, in locked kennel trucks, in the Palmettos of the wooded areas of Florida.

Don't know if most of you knew this, the Bryant family fortune was partially made by owning dog tracks.

Dude... leprechauns.

WTF is wrong with dog racing, though? I don't think they have to shove carrots up their asses to make them go.

The dog racing ban won 70% to 30%. Sounds like more than just PETA wanted it gone.

Pretty sure the West Memphis track in Arkansas is closing soon as well. Can't say I'm sorry. Trashy AF sport (if you can even call it that) and so are the people that attend it. Horse Racing is a better option and at least pretends to have some dignity.

Going to be a lot of slaughtered dogs. And a lot of slaughtered horses when they join the no value costs money to own party.

Racing maybe, track, no

They have those gaming machines and such and are making bank with it. the greyhounds kept them a gaming license.

Apparently not very much. I remember betting in mules (and maybe zebras) at Los Al on TVG!

I’m talking about Stronach and all his tracks and horse racing. I don’t know much about the dog tracks. They let peta have a say in their meetings and that will be the beginning of the end for horse racing.

Yeah can’t imagine it will be long before they start coming after them hard. I know the tracks in California catch hell especially Santa Anita. They must have a hell of a lobby I couldn’t believe they didnt get shut down for covid and Louisiana did.

That said, Los alamatos is about to start in 15 minutes and they have the best announcer in the game.

Still pissed peta got the show Luck cancelled. Not surprised that they could get dog racing canceled. It wouldn’t take much of a misinformation campaign to get people on board with banning dog racing. You see sentiment on here where people would rather other people die than a dog or want to kill people for mistreating dogs. Don’t take much to rule up some honkies when dogs are involved. But I guess welcome to modern day America where even animals have to be fat lazy and useless like the rest of us.

Well in fairness, when that many horses break down you’re gonna catch some hell. Rightly so.
