2000 Peach Bowl in the back of the endzone. What a great game. Georgia Tech had a really good team and it didn't look good at halftime.

That two point conversion where Davey clearly threw off his knee always cracks me up.

The GT coach was just like WTF.

I was one of the 73000. Great game. What a catch by Reed, I truly forgot how good he was.

A tale of two halves. GT squandered a lot of opportunities in the first half. Touchdown Tommy Banks had a good game too. Other than the UAB debacle that was a great season: The Tigers first home win vs Bama in decades; the Moo U OT win and program changing rebirth of Death Valley vs Tennessee.

I was there and had taken a friend, a Florida fan, and we thoroughly enjoyed that game. LSU became his 2nd favorite college team that day.
After halftime, Brandon Winey went in despite not starting due to injury and totally shut down Gathers who had wreaked havoc the first half for GT.
What a memorable game and great ending to a mediocre season.

Tommy Banks capped a nice career with 2 receiving TDs of all things. When’s the last time we had a FB with 2 total TDs in an entire season, much less 2 receiving ones in 1 game.

That video reminds me of so many trips with my dad from 1998-2007 or so chasing LSU Football, Baseball, and Basketball all over the country. We never lived in the state, but we always loaded up and went to bowl games, NCAA Tournaments, and Omaha. Good times back then when winning the peach bowl was good enough for a Gatorade bath and the fans to go nuts. What a ride for 20 years.

Jimbo put in Rohan and made him take 3 step drops to get it out quick and get us going. Great game in purple jerseys. We don’t see those anymore in bowls or title games. GEORGE godsey. We called him YAHTZEE the whole night.

My first bowl game as a 6 year old. Spent the whole week in Atlanta. This was when bowl games use to be a 3 or 4 day event.

I was there and It was a great trip. LSU had to beg its way into that Bowl because we had not travelled well in some of the previous bowls LSU has played in at the time. The attendance was good for that peach Bowl and Rohan put on a show in the 2nd half.
