Looking to switch from Gillette Mach 5 blade to an electric razor. One that gives a close shave. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Electric all suck.

Best shave is a cheap gillette sensor 2 plus

12 pack is like $6

I have a top of the line Braun series 7 and it is unreal how close it cuts. Also, when charged the battery lasts forever so I just leave it in my car for mobile shaving.

You are making a good decision.
I had C4/5 fusion in May and multiple repair main shoulder surgery in Sept. I have pretty much sliced the scar off of my neck from my fusion with my left hand numerous times

So you never have to charge it?

Why would you want to go from wet shaving to electric?

You aren't going to get a close shave with an electric razor. Get a safety razor if you want that. It takes longer, but you can tell a difference.

If you insist on electric, I have a Norelco OneBlade and it works ok. I can use one of the heads on my face then swap to the pube shaver for my junk.

BRAUN - I've had the same Braun for about 12 years now. The only thing I've changed is the foil cutter when it wears thin and gets a hole ($40 every 10-12 months).
