Some recent greats that come to mind

Grant Delpit
Jamal Adams
Laron Landry
Eric Reid
Chad Jones
Steltz

I'm sure I'm missing a couple that are of the same caliber

Ryan Clark and Mark Roman are probably about as far back as my LSU football watching days go

I'm sure there are some that precede all of the above that deserve mention

I loved watching Steltz play

From a badass standpoint, hard to beat jones or Landry. They were some maulers

Casanova played as a safety with the Cincinnati Bengals and also returned punts. As a rookie, he intercepted five passes on defense and had a 66-yard punt return for a touchdown. He was named the team MVP by his teammates after the season.

Jamal Adams. I feel like he will go down as one of the top 10 Safeties in NFL history.

Yeah if any of the more recent ones have a shot at HOF potential it's probably him. He has Eric Reed type of ability although I think their styles are very different.

I've seen punk arse Ryan Clark get burned multiple times during the 1999, 2000 and 2001 seasons. Glad you didn't list his sorry arse.

Yea I mean Casanova is far and away the best. That resume is unmatched by the vast majority of college football, much less LSU only.
