I haven't watched the series, other than the 1st season that was on SciFi, but I've read the books. From what I understand, for the most part, each season follows the corresponding book. So season 5 should follow book 5.
If true, I won't spoil anything, but you motherfrickers are in for a huge surprise.
I may follow the season long thread just to see yall's reactions.

They've already been hinting at it but it hasn't happened through first two episodes yet. Should get real fun soon.

Was surprised to see Bull make an appearance after Drummer initially seemed to take his role
First 3 episodes are great. Amos disarming the dude and beating him to give the message that he was back was excellent.

We aren't huge Sci fi fans but started watching this last night based on this thread. The first 3 episodes were solid.

Just finished S5E3 tonight, after getting a good Amos-a-thon the first 2 episodes I was hoping for more but E3 went another direction (which wasn't bad but not what I was in the mood for).
Amos is, by far, my favorite character of the series. He's got a little of that Homelander quality where you know that at any time while he's on screen someone could get seriously fricked up (but he has far more common sense controlling it).

Definitely Miller. Amos a very close second. Drummer is good.
Anyone notice Michio pa is on the ship with drummer and Bull is with Fred? Interesting to bring them in now. Maybe just a nod to the books. Bull was great in the books from beginning to...ugh...end.
