No I will not support a coach that makes dumbass decision. He loses a young bright mind in Joe Brady and replaces him with a washed up NFL reject. Loses a bright young mind in Dave replaces him with the washed up Youngstown State coach. Then preceded to try and downplay the impact those coaches had, Coach E called the plays and my favorite the defense was better than last year's. And I didn't even bring up his mid life crisis.

Because as CEO and head coach, to build a championship program and not just a championship team, you have to be elite in your coordinator hires and in how you prepare a team even in these circumstances.

This Pelini hire and installation of his defense is the worst hire for the money in the country this season. Every week it’s like we’re rewatching Andre Woodson to Jacob Tamme beating Danny McCray. And every week, it’s the same dogshit.

If he’s involved at all in this coverup stuff then he has to go

Really simple as that

You're too stupid to figure out why people like a coach when the team is doing well but criticize him when the team does poorly?

It’s almost like our opinion of him is tied directly to how our football team does.

Honestly I dont Want O fired. This is who he is. A good recruiter who needs good coordinators.

Our coordinators aren’t good. We lost a lot of talent too.

I am not cheering for him to be fired
I am not arguing for him to stay.
It is about more than the win loss column..
Hopefully qualified people with all the facts are sorting it out.

O doesn’t offer anything on X’s and O’s.

A) you don’t know that with any certainty, he probably contributes on DL coaching.
B) most head coaches don’t spend their time authoring an offensive or defensive game plan.
C) O model works fine if you make good hires. I think he makes safe hires sometimes instead of splash hires. Brady was a splash hire.

Such a lame excuse. Covid and opt outs are something every school is dealing with. And the elite programs don’t have 3-7 rebuilding years under any circumstances. Imagine Clemson, Bama, or OSU going 3-7

I think you mean Title IX rather than Title XI

Title IX violations are alleged that could bring Orgeron et al down. Interesting transposition though - Title XI has to do with bankruptcy law.

They may ultimately be related.

What could he be offering? Not offense since he's on his 3rd OC/PGC combo and if it's defense then it can't be much either since it's the worst in the country.

Brady was nobody. He wasn't a safe hire but he also wasn't a splash hire.

If people are jumping ship they’re bandwagon fans and not worth the time of day. Those of us that are always here though, are being fairly critical.

If O deserves credit for last season he fairly deserves criticism this season.

Brady was more or less an intern. How is that a splash hire?

DL has played pretty well this year. Logan and Farrell are out of shape though

No he wasn’t he had part time playcalling duties and was an onfield coach. He had little prior experience.

People should be held accountable for their shitty decisions and hiring Pelini off of the scrap heap was 100% a shitty decision.

It’s not complicated, this season is validation for anyone who attributed the 2019 success to technical guys like Joe Brady and Dave Aranda (and Joe Burrow, as a RS JR transfer). The question was, can Coach O consistently find and retain exceptional offensive and defensive coordinators? And the answer seems to be no.
