What an utter mistake that would be.

It's flat out embarrassing that "reporters" have resorted to these shock columns in an attempt to get viewership.

There should be someone fired if that happens!

If Michigan wants a Michigan man who tops out at 10 wins, can't develop a QB and can't beat their biggest rival....well they've already got a pretty good facsimile of Les Miles.

The writer needs to learn what a prediction means.

What are the chances that Henry Huber has less than 1% soy content in his blood?

In 2007, he might could have done something at Michigan. Now, no way in hell

If they do, they are completely insane.

Who do you propose they hire? They've spent nearly 15 years searching for that NC caliber coach and NONE of their varied hires have gotten them there.
They hired Rich Rod away from WVU following a great tenure there. Including a final season where he was a game away (maybe just a injured hand away) from playing for a national championship. He was probably the "hottest" name in coaching at the time. Hell, Bama almost hired him until a guy named Saban said he wanted to come back to college football.
The Hoke hire was a bit of a different direction, but at least they were able to compete with OSU until Hoke's last season.
Then, they got their white whale in Harbaugh and paid a ton for it. At the time he was hired NO ONE thought this is how his tenure would go. Now, he hasn't been bad so to speak. Just unable to get past OSU which is absolutely necessary for Michigan to get where they want to go
It's not like they haven't tried. The reality is the school isn't as "invested" as Ohio St and Michigan isn't draw the national talent it once did. I'm not saying Les would be a home run...but I don't know any REALISTIC candidates out there that would

Good lord I couldn't think of a worse hire possible

Would be a 100 fold improvement over our current head coach...

I will throw Les a lifeline on that one.
2009. That's the last time Kansas won more than 3 games in a season.

“Prediction: Michigan’s next head coach could be former LSU coach, Les Miles”
That’s not much of a prediction.
