Dollar general is actually very expensive... it’s kinda predatory how they do business... they put their locations in poverty stricken area, and then charge a lot more than a Walmart or a Kroger while having the name dollar general to put off the impression that it is cheap

Not at the level of DGs.

Sometimes I can't find someone or if I do, they look fckking overworked.

Every one I’ve been has only had a couple of employees, but I’ve never been in one that was super busy so they didn’t really need more employees.

That’s a good looking Brittany,

And, yes. Every DG I’ve ever entered looks like they stock all the time, have boxes all over the place, and make you wait at a register for a bit like they don’t see you.

Truth. I have one near me that has a bearded, pedo looking guy who works there. If he’s not actively checking someone out, he’s outside smoking. I can’t imagine the shoplifting rate at that store.

I went to CVS yesterday. A $400 life sized black Santa when you walk in, self checkout only, and not one employee to be seen.

Why do you post pictures that include your dog in every one of your posts?

Cute dog, but kinda weird.

Not the DG brand.

I used to shop at one a lot and the DG brand is what the poors get. It is DIRT cheap.

Man, the one near my house has a lady in her mid to late 50's who works as a cashier. She is definitely on the spectrum (you can tell immediately when she speaks to you) and is the slowest person to ever run a cash register. You could be the only one in line or have a line of 50 and she would move at the same snail's pace she always does.

I'll check if she is working as soon as I walk in and if she is, I make a U-turn and go to Target or Walmart. She makes me irrationally angry.

DG in my hometown is always a disaster.

Long checkout lines, shite all over the place.

Used to be a good option to quickly pick up a few things, but now I avoid it when going back home.

Have you come across the "Super Dollar Generals"?

In North LA/MS I've come across DGs nearly the size of the smaller Wal-Mart Marketplaces with Pumps. Yes, DG with gas pumps.
