Well deserved and rightfully earned. Her 30 yard kickoff was executed to perfection.

Is this kind of blatant pandering really empowering for women?

I don't want to hear the SEC calling any conference soft anymore.

She’s the 2,000th best kicker of the Vandy student body but praised as a hero.

Let’s use this to say “end women’s sports, let’s all play on one team”.

I cried in the press box. I held back tears many more times.

When I first learned this could become reality, there were two goals: Take care of
@SarahFuller_27
. Take care of
@VandyFootball
.

We did. History made.

How could any woman not be completely embrassed by this?

It is liberal men directly telling them "Hey honey, we think you are pathetic and second class, so here is your ribbon"

I think it's a little misguided to push this as "Girls can do anything" moment.

Regardless of the execution of the kick. She was a scholarship athlete in the SEC. Everything she did prior to even dressing out for the football team is something 99% of girls can't do. Even 99% of girls who want to do that.

It's not "girls can do anything", it's "if you are an elite athlete in one sport, someone might give you a chance in another."

What if something happened in that play? Say she kicks it better and everyone turns around. Then they come back and a guy gets confused and BLOWS HER UP!!!?

Who is at fault? Player? Coaches?
