To be fair, she executed that kick perfectly.
I wanted to mock her, but it’s obvious they just wanted a squib kick and she did pretty much what they wanted.

Kathy Ireland will be so proud.

I think it was. she immediately started walking to the sideline after she kicked it. Also, the female kicker is of far less interest to me than how fricking awful of a coach Derek Mason is and how he still has a job. Vanderbilt football doesn't often have expectations, but they actually did under this guy because he's managed to recruit well by their standards, but he's a complete abject failure of a coach.

Looks like she’s kicking it the way you’d kick the ball out of goal. Maybe with a few weeks of practice she’s get there but she’s definitely not here right now
“Equality”.
Let the high school kicker male who knows what they are doing spent four years kicking sit in the stands and cheer for this.

That was it???? I tuned in just to see how far she could actually kick it....and it was a squib kick?!?!? And even worse they celebrated it like it was some sort of amazing kick. I’m 100% sure there’s plenty of players on the roster who could kick it 20 yards and 5 feet off the ground. I wanted to see her boot it!!!!

She didn’t really follow through on the kick, And the kickoff coverage team was running down field to the side of the field that she kicked it to.
I’ll give her credit for the squib kick.

Were you expecting her to cover and try to tackle? She'd get killed.

Of course it was. Who takes 2 steps before a kick off?
Do you think they’re going to let her kick it deep and risk the chance of her getting bulldozed? Derek Mason would never hear the end of it if she got steamrolled on a kick off.

So did Vandy get anything out of this publicity stunt?
Posted on 11/28/20 at 12:57 pm to Buckeye Backer
It was good enough for virtue signaling points, and seeing how Vandy won’t be scoring any actual points or winning any actual games; it’s all they have.

Really? I've seen nothing about it on t.v. or in the papers or on the radio?

Bruh, it absolutely was. Her hips opened up exactly where she wanted to kick the ball. She also didn’t swing all the way through it.
It’s obvious you’ve never kicked any type of ball - football or soccer.

which is why it was a designed squib kick.

She didn't follow through on any of her field goals attempts leading up to the game either. You just saw how far she can kick. That was it. It wasn't an intentional squib

Is she being forced to play? Did she not sign up to play football? Part of being the kicker on kickoffs is participating as the last line of coverage....

Then why the whole charade and “play like a girl”
