Also Ahsoko smiling when he said it was a hilarious wink and nod to the sequel frick up because a JEDI would never call it that unless they were sad alone and depressed from green titty milk

Luke saying it doesn’t bother me. The way he frames it is like the imagination of a child. He is scoffing at Rey’s ideas that he’d just swoop in and save the day.

Anakin also calls them that in Phantom Menace, which cements the child-like angle for me. He also says stuff like nobody can kill a Jedi (lol).

So Ahsoka is able to hold her own against the likes of Darth Vader and Darth Maul, but struggles in battle against the Magistrate?

I enjoyed the episode, but that shouldn't have been a close fight.

She was worried that if she pressed any more they would start killing innocent villagers. I’m sure she could have taken it by herself.

Well, Ahsoka would've defeated Darth Maul with ease in his later years, especially when they would meet up at Malachor with Kanan and Ezra.

By the time Ahsoka and Maul met up at Malachor, Ahsoka I believe is on par with Anakin Skywalker during the Clone Wars in lightsaber combat and connection to the force. I saw Ahsoka use a lightsaber form that combines Obi-Wan's defensive form and Anakin's offensive form.

Also.....

They could just get Nathan Hamill to play a younger Luke. Agents of Shield did it with Bill Paxton's son.

Billie Lorde played a younger version of Leia in Episode IX.

Ashoka may have taken her sooner but She needed her alive to talk.

She needed her alive and also she probably hasn’t fought in that type of saber vs sword/saber fight in a while. Was probably rusty

All the speculation over who the title "The Jedi" was referring to:

Ahsoka?
Ezra?
Luke?

Nope. The Jedi was with Din the entire time.

Her style seemed to be quick kills but she needed the magistrate alive. I think she was pulling back.

Based off who is righting this it might Ezra. Interesting though that Ashoka is now searching for Thrawn 4 years after her and Sabine set off to find Ezra who was last seen heading into unknown space with Thrawn. I am wondering the reason searching for Thrawn is to find Ezra.

In regards to Canon I know Q Vos survived which would be cool to see him. IIRC another Jedi that survived(I think Canon) was K'Kruhk who saved a bunch of young Jedi and later brought to Luke's new temple and order.

To be honest I am over the Skywalker saga.

Disney forgot then.

A Skywalker can be involved without it being about the Skywalkers. In fact I would have loved to see Luke as a basic Jedi with great skill instead.

Either way, Disney really butchered the skywalker saga. The Skywalker saga should have ended in episode 6. In my mind it did.

Stan needs to jump on this train now. He can have a cash cow with this franchise

The time jump at the end of Rebels is 4-5 years after Endor. Remember Jacen Syndulla is 7-8 at that time.

I’d love to see Stan as Luke.

I wouldn’t be opposed to Cameron Monaghan bringing Cal Kestis to live action.

I know and why I said after this season started that I would not be surprised to see Thrawn show up. I actually mentioned last season this was the time he started coming back in EU.

I have a feeling that Ezra is going to show now at the end of this season for Grogu.

Not sure it would add any value to this series and what makes this series what it is because it had nothing to do with the movie story line.

I would have said I would prefer not to see Luke, Leia, etc in this show but at this point I trust Filoni and Favreau with my life. I have complete faith they can do anything

Rosario is FIIINE AF. That makeup and costume was on point.

What’s everyone think of her live action sabers? Accurate?

Also.

frickING THRAWWWWWN.

Pleas tell me it’s real. Tell me Favs is gonna nuke the Disney Trilogy and send that shite into the dump where it belongs.

My favorite part, the western standoff with Mando and the henchmen in the middle of the town. shite fire I love this show

Given how Olyphant was featured already, I wonder if they took a play from Justified. That stand-off felt a lot like Raylans last showdown. The stunt double in the suit also moves A LOT like Olyphant did in Justified.

* Last thing. The fight choreography this episode shat all over anything the Disney trilogy had to offer.

So not reading the thread yet but just finished the episode:

Not sure how I feel about the name Gorgu. I don’t hate it but it’s not pulling me in.

Rosario did much better as Ahsoka than I thought she would.

So we know what Ahsoka will be doing in her spin off.

So will Disney have the balls to have Luke (player by Sebastian Stan) be the one to feel Gorgu’a presence? Will they go with Ezra? Another Jedi in hiding?
