My FiL is a good ole baw who smokes meat and drinks Busch all day.

One day he was fricked up and grilled backstrap, shrimp, bacon, jalopenas, and cream cheese in some foil. He put them on a burrito and dropped some sour cream and told me to eat.

That was about 5 years ago and I make that about once a year to pretty rave reviews.

Tim LeBlanc in Morganza makes some damn good deer burritos. I like them better than Mickey Brown’s

Not deer, but I’ve had elk tamales and they were delicious.

I've made them at home before, they're very easy. Then I lay them out on a cookie sheet and freeze individually, I then vacuum pack them 1 per bag. I freeze before vacuuming so they don't flatten out.

They are really easy to just throw in the microwave for a quick snack or dinner.

Taste like any other burrito. Save your venison for a nice deer roast.
