Brennan not going to transfer. Will not sit anouther year at another school

Not saying he will, but why would he sit at another school?

He can probably graduate transfer and I believe next season the ncaa is starting to allow one transfer without having any penalty.

Finley was basically facing the second string at Ark.

So? The comparison was on them in the same game. Finley struggled and Max got a td in garbage time. Doesn't make him better.

Brennan is the clear starter if healthy. Anyone thinking otherwise is just doing the backup qb is savior thing

At this point sure, by next fall? Who knows.

TJ will have more live game experience, depends how he develops between now and then.

If Finley continues to improve and it looks like he is the starter following spring ball i can see Brennan transferring this year but I think Max Johnson will stick around for at least one more season.
Finley is not the starter next year. Brennan will be back for 2 more years. You people are retarded. Brennan would’ve threw for over 400 yards on Arkansas.

Brennan for 2 years then Nuss takes over. Finley should be glad he got the opportunity to showcase his talent.

I still think people made up their mind about Brennan and just won't shake that initial take. It took him time, but he's on another level than these guys. The only thing removing him from QB1 next year is injury.

Same could be said the other way too.

There's a lot of time between now and next fall. Alot can happen the next 4 games and off-season.

Right now Brennan starts, by next fall, we don't know anything.

With Brennan we may lose to Arkansas, we don't know.

Again as of now Brennan will be the starter but by next fall me or anyone else on this board don't know shite

Except we know what Brennan is. He was absolutely killing it.

Ya'll are looking to fix something that wasn't a problem. Look for Safeties and Lbs instead.

I'm not looking for anything, I'm just speaking what should be obvious.

Stop acting like Brennan has been the qb for 3 years and has been a Heisman candidate. Yes he produced great numbers before his injury and as I stated at this point will likely be the starter next season.

Many act like TJ getting valuable game time, and having more game experience than Myles in the spring and fall and continuing to progress and possibly overtake Brennan is impossible.

Again Brenna will likely start but to attempt to stifle any discussion other than that on a message board designed for discussion makes you sound defensive

I'm not defensive at all but this thread was started "worried Max Johnson might transfer".. we're talking the 3rd string qb. I just think it's worth pointing out how good the starting offense is.

He’s the starter but I expect since he is white and comes from a well off family he will catch flack. Kinda of like he did this year with the golden boy shite. People who think that shite isn’t a thing are in denial.

Clearly the best qb on the roster and the best in a long time if Burrow hadn't existed

I really think his demeanor does him no favors. He comes off as awkward and uncomfortable. He's a damn good qb but doesn't fit the mold people want.

His numbers were on pace to match Burrows from the championship season. Without the injury I would have expect Brennan to make the same jump Burrow did from years 1 to 2 as the starter.

Not really.

Frankly anyone pushing for Johnson after what we’ve seen from Finley I wonder what the agenda is.

I forgot about his brother and that could be a big loss. I just wish we could see MJ play one entire game so we can get a good look at his potential.

No doubt about it. He isn't even getting a chance.

His chance was at practice and Finley beat him out.

Max also had to quarantine for 14 days for contact tracing for going to a party. I am not knocking him for his actions but anyone would start Finely knowing he took first team reps for two weeks and Max returning in a short week to prepare.

Burrow is white and from a well off family and everyone loved him.
